The work was started construction on January 9th, 2014 and completed on December 1, 2016, with the investor, the Logistics Department of Military Region 7, with a total cost of VND 143 billion. The scale of construction investment and upgrading is 2 phases of dredging the area in front of the wharf; build 40,000-ton wharf; embankment; the system needs to enter on the wharf; measuring devices; to upgrade the foundation and build a new house for the protection of petrol and oil equipment outside the wharf, a warehouse with an area of ​​nearly 1,000 m2, a car garage, building and renovating technologies in FOAM pumps, renovating pump houses, upgrading technological piping system …

During the construction process, the project management board has shown its responsibility, always sticking to the project, checking, promptly rectifying the deficiencies, the construction units ensure labor safety, preserve environmental sanitation. The work is evaluated by the Acceptance Council to meet the quality requirements according to the design documents, construction standards and technical requirements of the work. The acceptance council approves and agrees for the acceptance test of works

Once completed and put into use, the project will help VK102 petroleum depot, Military Zone 7 Logistics Department ensure its mission is to receive, reserve, allocate and secure petrol for Military Region 7 and units under the Ministry of Defense in the southern region.
