On August 17th, 2018, representatives from Hyundai Thanh Cong – the official distributor and assembler of specialized vehicles in Vietnam had a visit and worked at IMAE.
The meeting took place at the factory of IMAE with the presence of (Mr.) MJ Kang (General Director) Hyundai Thanh Cong, (Mr.) SM Lee (Sales Director) and some other representatives from Hyundai Viet Nam with IMAE’s management.
During this visit, Mr. Kang spent time working with IMAE leaders – (Mr.) Dao Quoc Hung (General Director of the company) and (Mr.) Tran Thanh Dung (Deputy Director of the company) in the evaluation IMAE’s operational capacity as well as identify the common steps of both sides shortly. Mr. Kang and representatives were quite impressed with the achievements that IMAE has achieved in the past as well as appreciated the prestige and quality of the products at IMAE.
With the strength of producing aluminum alloy tank trucks, IMAE has been very successful when launching products assembled on Hyundai platforms such as HD210, HD260, HD320, HD360, … After nearly 10 years of operation. Also, IMAE has always maintained and promoted its strengths. Since 2009, IMAE is still known as the first and only unit to produce aluminum alloy tankers in the specialized vehicle market in Vietnam.
With the results that IMAE has achieved in nearly 10 years, General Director Kang has evaluated IMAE as potential business and intends to cooperate with IMAE soon.
Mr. Kang said that Hyundai Thanh Cong will launch new models in the market to meet all consumer needs of all customers.
After the meeting, Mr. Kang expressed his hope that Hyundai Thanh Cong will soon become the main supplier of specialized vehicles of IMAE, creating conditions for the two parties to have more opportunities to cooperate, expand the market and improve future production activities.
