On the morning of February 23rd, Thien Minh Duc Group celebrated the inauguration ceremony of DKC petroleum depot in Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. The largest petroleum depot in North Central is officially put into operation.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc – Member of Politburo, Prime Minister; members of the Party Central Committee: Uong Chu Luu – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Ho Duc Phoc -Total State Auditor; Bui Thanh Son – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Le Thi Thuy – Vice Chairman of Central Inspection Committee.

Former comrades of Central Party Committee, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee: Le Doan Hop – Former Minister of Information and Communications; Truong Dinh Tuyen – former Minister of Trade.

From Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Thai Thanh Quy – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Reporting on the project, Ms. Chu Thi Thanh – Chairwoman of Thien Minh Duc Group said: DKC petroleum depot and other petroleum products are in the framework of the project “Planning of production and distribution systems petroleum distribution to 2020, vision to 2025 ″ has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to enhance the capacity of the hub and distribution warehouse system in the North Central region, while ensuring the supply volume application for Laos.

On January 17th, 2017, the Group was approved by the Ministry of Transport to adjust the size of berth 1 to 49,000 tons and berth 2 to 10,000 tons. Total investment in 2 periods is about VND 1,400 billion.

After 3 years of project implementation, on January 20th, 2019, the Group received the 37,000-ton Glid Ocean ship of the group’s DKC Shipping brand for the first time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Thai Thanh Quy affirmed: This is an important event, marking Nghe An has a new, modern project, an important addition to the key warehouse system in the North Central region. ; ensure supply of petroleum to Laos, create more jobs for workers and especially contribute to the budget of Nghe An province more than 1,000 billion VND each year.

The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee proposed that all branches and levels create the best conditions for the project to operate, and also expect businesses to also comply with the provisions of the law on maritime, fire and explosion prevention, production, effective business to make more and more major contributions to the homeland.
